The local area around Montgomery hosts a bevy of historical, cultural, recreational, and entertainment activities.  You will find that Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex are close to major shopping areas.  The DODD school is first rate and we have a host of private and public schools.  The Montgomery city school system also has a Magnet program for students with specific carrier goals or specialty skills.
